Hotel Escala Puebla Centro

Great value,a bit weird neighbourhood though. Clean clean clean and the hot water was endless. The staff are amazing with a wonderful smile and they kept our bags for a while. It’s only 10 mins away from Zócalo,highly recommended!!!

Great price quality value. Very well located, not direct on the Center but 10 minutes to the cathedral. Rooms are well equipped for the price and very clean. We loved it and would come again.

Great hotel! It's walking distance to the Puebla Cathedral and Mercado el Parian. The staff is very friendly and available to answer all questions. The streets outside the hotel and around the corner are a bit dirty. There were also a lot of people hanging around drinking on the weekends. We didn't really feel safe walking around after dark.

I really want to give this 5 stars, because overall it was magical. But I just can't give 5 stars to a place that only has 2 minutes of hot water at a time for a family of four. After the first day, we tried to be super strategic so that we could time showers perfectly, but really only one person could sort of get clean before the water turned frigid. Otherwise, we loved the setup. It was simply beautiful, complete with our very own rooftop garden! Pros - location, getting to eat breakfast on a private rooftop, 2 rooms far enough from the common area that you could watch a show without disturbing sleepers, a kitchen with some condiments, LOTS of space including closets and cabinets, two and a half baths, an exercise space, blackout blinds, kind and helpful staff, great location Cons - not enough hot water, no spoons, no microwave, needed a little outdoor table and chairs on the rooftop and some soft lighting to make it perfect (we brought out one of the desks and a couple of chairs so we could eat outside as a family)

Great location, very friendly and helpful front desk staff which seems to be a rarity. Bed was decent, and room clean. Overall for the price I was really happy with it, would stay again.

Outside the center, quiet streets around but the hotel is having a terrible echo, if you look for a quiet nights and quiet morning, this is not the place. The room I had was big and so is the bed, that was comfortable. Every day housekeeping. No amenities in the room except a refrigerator & 2 water bottles, no kettle or anything else for making coffee, there is no restaurant close by or coffee place, for that you'll have to cross the main road and head to the Centro.

The WiFi wasn’t good but overall nice experience and pleasant staff

Really enjoyed our stay here - the hotel is beautiful and unique - room was very clean - service was great.
